So, it’s more the artistic side of things that had this impact on me, but from a gameplay perspective I’d say that I like Bayonetta 1, Devil May Cry 1(which has the best hard mode ever made; Dante Must Die), Dead Space 1 and 2, and The Wonderful 101 just as much.

DMC5: I really like fighting every enemy in the game and there's not a super annoying one I hate, this includes fury. DMC: Pretty much the same as 5, except nightmare.
DmC: The biggest problem with the game is that it called itself Devil May Cry. If it was an original property people would be way nicer to it. DMC5: Nothing. A year and a half later and I still have nothing but praise for that game.
